ARS website is about the
always fascinating battlefield tours and my continuing interest in
WW2.
ARS
Website online since 1999.
Once
I started an Internet site as a result of
the battlefield tours I have made since 1994
that I make to the various battlefields and
important places in the Second World War.
The visit to
Sachsenhausen
concentration camp
made a deep impression on me. See also the
overview of the
activities in connection with my
interest in the history of the Second World
War. I also have a
weblog
to share my interest in history
with you and where I follow remarkable
events that take place in the context of the
Last Days in which we live. In this serious
time with the corona pandemic, no
battlefield tours. Instead,
online lectures and events. Added the page:
ARS Website in corona time.
ARS
Website wants to honor our liberators and
remember those who fell. So that we never
forget!
At the beginning of the evening of May 4,
2022, remembrance day, ARS Website stood at
the Lancaster monument Anreep at Assen and
witnessed the flypast of the Lancaster of
the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight. The
Lancaster flew right over me and it was an
impressive tribute to the fallen during
World War II.
